Mission Gardens Play Centre Inc. was established to serve the families of the Mission Gardens neighbourhood in Winnipeg's vibrant Transcona area. What began as a small community initiative has grown into a trusted preschool that generations of families have called their own.
Nestled within a local school building, our centre provides a unique, welcoming setting where young learners feel safe and inspired. Our dedicated team has been creating joyful learning experiences for children, building a strong foundation for their future educational journeys.

Children Learn Through Play
At the heart of everything we do is our deep belief that play is the most natural and effective way for young children to learn. Through play, children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, language abilities, and social competence — all while having fun.
Our play-based curriculum is carefully designed to promote growth across all developmental domains:

Dedicated, Qualified, Passionate
Our small but mighty team is led by our Director/Teacher who holds ECE III qualifications, the highest level of early childhood education certification in Manitoba. This ensures that your child's learning experiences are guided by a professional with extensive training in child development and pedagogy.
With two full-time staff members, we maintain the required 50% trained staff ratio and go above and beyond to provide exceptional care. Our team participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
